Homeless in a homeland: housing insecurity and homelessness in the Northwest Territories, Canada

My doctoral research examined geographies of homelessness and housing insecurity in the Northwest Territories.  The research focuses on acute forms of homelessness in Inuvik and Yellowknife, while at the same time using the experiences of research collaborators to explore homelessness at the territorial scale. My thesis, Homeless in a homeland, can be downloaded here.

This research comprises a sub-project under the multi-disciplinary International Polar Year project The Impacts of Oil and Gas on Arctic Peoples Using a Multiple Securities Perspective.
