Nancy Ross

Associate Professor

Nancy has an ongoing research program investigating income inequality as a determinant of population health in North America. This program encompasses a broad range of studies including the relationship between residential segregation, public goods in urban areas and health outcomes. Nancy is continuing work at the health region level in Canada on the determinants of disability-free life expectancy as well as regional and neighbourhood scale work on the net social-contextual influences on health status. Nancy currently holds research funding from the Canadian Population Health Initiative (CPHI), The Canadian Institues of Health Research (CIHR), Fonds de la recherece en Sante Quebec (FRSC) and Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la société et la culture (FRSC).
